FarmOps Backup Terms

About this service

FarmOps Backup is operated by Bluebells Investment Ltd for authorised administration of FarmOps backup and recovery. It is not a public file-storage service.

Authorised use

Only administrators authorised by Bluebells Investment Ltd may configure the backup connection, access backup files or perform restorations. Administrators must have permission to use the selected Google Drive account and store the relevant farm records there.

Credentials and access

Administrators must protect Google authorisation tokens, server credentials and backup encryption credentials. These must not be shared with unauthorised people or published.

Google Drive access can be revoked through the connected Google Account. Revoking access prevents future transfers but does not automatically remove existing backup files.

Backup and recovery limitations

The Google Drive backup connection is currently being configured and tested. It should not be relied upon until an upload and a separate restore test have succeeded.

Backups may fail because of connection problems, insufficient storage, expired or revoked permissions, server faults or other technical issues. Administrators must monitor backup results and periodically test recovery.

A backup contains records available when it was created and may not include later changes. Encrypted backups may be unrecoverable if the required encryption credentials are lost.

Retention and deletion

Backup retention and deletion are managed by authorised administrators as described in the FarmOps Backup Privacy notice. Deleting live records does not automatically remove them from older backups.

Third-party services

The backup process uses Google Drive and DigitalOcean. Use of those services remains subject to their applicable terms and account restrictions.

Changes and contact

Bluebells Investment Ltd may update the backup arrangements and these terms. Material changes will be communicated to the affected administrators.
